About This Project

New Church Master Plan

This church design is the culmination of a master plan is for a traditional Catholic parish in the South which has a very large population, but with a very small campus.

The master plan has the objectives to plan for the long-term development of the parish so that the parish may have adequate space to expand without adversely affecting any current facilities as the parish grows.

The master plan envisions a new classroom and office building, a new parish hall and rectory and eventually the creation of a new 800 seat church on the property.  The plan will allow for growth and adequate parking without leaving the current property.

The church is designed in a traditional cross shaped basilican form to emulate and take cues from Old St. Peter’s and St. Paul Outside the Walls in Rome.
