About This Project

Church in the Southwest

This project was a proposal for a new church, rectory, office and parish hall for a growing Traditional Latin Rite parish in Arizona.  The church had a limited site, but nevertheless our design was for 700 seat church with a full parish hall and offices along with a small rectory and ample parking for the parish.

The design draws naturally from Southwest traditional Catholic architecture and features a prominent forecourt for parish festivals and processions.

The interior is modeled on examples from Mexico and Spain and features a high altar with imagery of Our Lady of Guadalupe and local saints.
