This project is for an ambitious new library intended to be a turning point in the history of the college. The library was initially designed by James McCrery Architect, the design is modeled on Independence Hall in Philadelphia, and will feature a replica of the assembly room where the Declaration of Independence was signed.
Our firm was brought in to continue to steward the design and but also to provide design recommendations, including a redesign of the South Tower facade. The tower now features four prominent ionic columns to represent the four symbolic pillars of the college’s curriculum.
Scope: Redesign of Tower Elevation, West Entry and Design Consultation
