This project is for a parish in North Carolina which has outgrown the small church that the congregation had originally worshiped in. The parish has purchased a beautiful historic church which had been vacant for a decade.
The parish intends to renovate and update the entire church and restore the interior and exterior spaces of the church. In the nave and sanctuary, our design aims to be both sensitive to the historic church and its character, but also to make the nave and sanctuary holy and worthy of sacred worship. The sanctuary incorporates and modifies the existing furnishings and wood paneling.
