This project is part of a larger master to create a national shrine to the first Native American saint, St. Kateri Tekakwitha. In an area where the majority of the population is Native American, the project looks to incorporate a large Rosary walk with shrines for each mystery of the Rosary.
Future plans are an outdoor chapel and a museum dedicated to Native American saints and evangelists of the American Southwest.
