This project was a proposal for the development of a large parcel in the Fan District of Richmond, Virginia. The proposal is composed of three blocks surrounding an internal raised courtyard which has parking below. The Main block forms a wall along the main thoroughfare, composed of traditional storefronts and traditional Virginia brick facades.
The smaller block of apartments to the rear have large porticos looking out on the courtyard.
The final block of townhouses face toward the minor street and mirror the existing townhouses both in size and height. The townhouses will each have a private garage on the parking level and feature small basement apartments which may be flex space or rental units.
