This project is for a growing K-12 charter school in New Mexico. The school has outgrown its current facilities nearby and has purchased the campus of another school which had recently closed.
The project consists of creating a phased development plan that will be able to accommodate all current students in the existing buildings and then add buildings as the student body grows.
The new campus has a historic high school which will be renovated into the middle school, and a new high school and grade school will be built on the property.
The high school building is designed to mediate the change in topography from the lowest level of the middle school to the highest at the rear of the grade school. A new gymnasium and sports field is planned as a final development of the phased development plan.
